Hi! My name is Pearl, otherwise known as DJ Pearl. I’ve been a mobile wedding and karaoke DJ for over 10 years now and I just love my job! I come from a family of musicians so I’ve always had a penchant for music and dance.
I decided to start this Blog because I love talking about entertainment and music in general and helping people plan for their events in particular. Hopefully some of my posts will give you ideas for your own events. Maybe you’ll even be willing to share some of your experiences as well!
I met my husband, Mark, while dancing at a local night spot over 11 years ago and we’ve been partners ever since! Here we are doing a 50’s dance together. Besides being a great dance partner, he’s also a loving husband and father.
In addition to my full time DJ business I also drive a school bus part time for our local school district. It’s a full 40′ bus and I’ve been doing that for about 5 years.
It’s not a glamorous job but it does bring out the “kid” in me. Here I am all dressed up for Halloween to scare the little ones as they board the bus.
Speaking of little ones, there’s three of them in our life. There’s Dustin (well OK, he’s a big one).
And then there’s our two little ones, Christopher and Roel.
